Bio - Allison M. Fleetwood Jr.
The son of an architect, Al's first love was painting and illustrating—skills he still employs today as a professional photographer. Al began his career in photography in 1992. After earning a Bachelor of Science Degree from Georgia State University in Atlanta, he served as a Naval Intelligence Photographer and Ship's Armed Security in the United States Navy aboard the USS New Orleans LPH-11, a U.S. Marine Corps Helicopter Carrier, from 1992 to '96, with his home port in San Diego, California. During his four years at sea, he completed two overseas tours, covering the Pacific and Indian Oceans, Asia, and the Middle East.
Upon completing his duty, he traveled widely throughout the United States, ultimately choosing to specialize in architectural photography and real estate photography as his professional focus. Having fallen in love with the Rocky Mountains at an early age, he moved his base to Colorado's Rocky Mountains in 2002, living in Denver, Colorado Springs, and Broomfield, until December of 2020. Forever the adventurer, the allure of Florida's warm climate and constitutionally solid government drew him to the Sunshine State in 2020, where he now bases his firm in Orlando.
Remaining disciplined in polishing his technical expertise and artistic eye, he has expanded his professional services over the years to include portraiture, photojournalism, public relations, advertising, products, travel, fine art landscapes, and marketing and narrative films.
With 33 years of experience, he shoots regionally and nationally for America's Fortune 100 corporations, as well as many distinguished mid-sized and small firms. He also offers his services in selected international locales. His fine art photography is displayed in private galleries, while his commercial photography has been widely disseminated in books, advertising, trade publications, local and national magazines, Fortune 100 office lobbies, corporate websites, and television commercials.
